Mark Torbert is the principal for the Secondary School and superintendent over all three LCS campuses. The 2010-2011 school year was his first year as principal and superintendent at Lawton Christian School.
Mr. Torbert received his B.S. in Elementary Education from Cameron University and is a certified teacher with 37 years experience in the Lawton Public School system. He has been a tennis instructor for the Goodyear Recreation Association and worked in Children’s ministry at Grace Fellowship for six years. Mr. Torberts has also been a sponsor of Fellowship of Christian Athletes for 23 years.
Mr. Torbert's interests include tennis, golf, hiking, and travel. He has received Teacher of the Month at MacArthur Middle School in 2007, was State of Oklahoma F.C.A. Coach of the Year in 2000, and received Teacher of the Year in 1999 from the Lawton Constitution.
